HC MUD 504 Resident Water Concerns

June 6, 2023 5:12 pm

The District’s operator, Inframark, is aware that customers in the District have been experiencing water odor and water appearance issues. The District receives water from two different sources, ground water from wells located in HC MUD No. 412 and surface water from the City of Houston. The water is blended, treated, and distributed to customers throughout HC MUD No. 412 and the District. Currently, the District is utilizing a larger percentage of surface water in the treated water blend due to maintenance on one of the ground water wells, which has resulted in the difference in the water odor and appearance reported by customers. To assist with the issues, Inframark has been actively flushing the lines. Please be assured that the District’s water quality is not being impacted; the water continues to be safe to drink and use. A General Troubleshooting guide is being created to reference outside of this isolated event.

For any additional questions or concerns, please contact Inframark at 281-578-4200.
