Update - Boil Water Notice Rescinded
On April 12, 2026, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) required Harris County MUD 504, public water system TX1013522, to issue a Boil Water Notice to inform customers that, due to conditions in the public water system, water was required to be boiled prior to use for drinking or human consumption.
Harris County MUD 504 has taken the necessary corrective actions to restore water quality and has provided TCEQ with laboratory test results confirming that the water is safe for consumption. The Boil Water Notice is no longer in effect as of April 14, 2026.

Update – Boil Water Notice Remains in Effect

The boil water notice for HCMUD 504 remains in effect as we await required laboratory test results to confirm water quality.
Samples have been collected and submitted, and we will notify residents as soon as results are received and the notice can be lifted.

All Clear – Situation Resolved in HCMUD 504
The low water pressure affecting HCMUD 504 has been resolved.
All systems are now operating normally; however, the boil water notice will remain in effect for at least 24 hours and until further notice.

Boil Water Notice Issued for HCMUD 504
A Boil Water Notice is now in effect for HCMUD 504 due to a loss of system pressure.
Residents should boil water for at least two minutes before using it for drinking, cooking, or brushing teeth.
We will notify you as soon as the notice is lifted.
